The Allio is a two-person studio in Chennai with three 3D printers named after the weather. We make small, considered, occasionally-absurd objects — mostly on request.
A pile of filament. No plan.
We started The Allio in a two-bedroom flat with one printer parked on the dining table. It was 2024. We had a pile of plant-based filament, a spreadsheet of gift ideas, and exactly zero experience running a shop.
The first order was a keychain for a neighbour's kid. The second was her cousin's. The third arrived from someone we'd never met — that one made us get serious.
Two years later we've got three printers humming in a real studio, 2,400+ customers across India, and the same dining table (now covered in parcel paper).

Within the hour
We get a ping. Your design gets slotted into the print queue, colour matched, name typed.

Day one
Your piece starts printing on Aruna, Blaze, or Cosmo. Some pieces take 4 hours, some take 14.

Day two
Sanding, cleaning, assembly. Personalised bits get the final touch, sometimes by hand.

Day three
Wrapped in tissue, boxed with a handwritten note, sent to DTDC or Bluedart. You get a tracking link.

Day five-ish
It lands. Photo, please? We live for unboxing pictures.

Plant-based only
Every print is PLA — made from corn starch, not crude oil. Compostable in the right setup.
One at a time
We refuse to mass-produce. Your order is printed the day it comes in. No dusty inventory.
Packed with a note
Every parcel ships with a hand-written thank-you. Corny? Sure. But we mean it every time.
If it breaks, we fix it
Print-related defect? We re-print and ship. No forms, no arguments. Just email us.
